Slurry Separator Achieves 7-10 m³ Throughput
This press screw separator which is positioned on a concrete block has a throughput of 7-10m³. The raw material has a DM content of 6,5%. After the separation the solids have DM content of 20%, whereas, the liquid phase only has 3,7% DM content.
Compact slurry separator
The machine in this reference is the smallest slurry separator by Stallkamp. It generally pays off for farms with 80-100 cows. The feeding of the separator is ensured by the use of a 4kW rotary lobe pump that supports the medium in a big hopper. The solids drop down at the outlet which has a hydraulic ball head. The liquids that are enriched with nutrients flow back into the manure storage. A short video on our Youtube Channel shows the process.
