Considerable Wastewater Treatment Project with Stainless Steel Tanks

The environmental technology company Züblin chose Stallkamp to deliver stainless steel tanks for a considerable wastewater treatment project in Germany. The project inclueded three stainless steel tanks that are used as sewage sludge tank and clean water collectors. The wastewater treatment tanks are built as durable corrugated stainless steel tanks with various add-on parts.

The sewage sludge container buffers focculated sludge at a DM-content (dry matter) of 20-30%. The tank is covered by a self-supporting stainless steel roof with an incline of 10°. The whole tank has three flanges and two inspection openings – one of them through the tank roof. The volume of the stainless steel tank is 175m³ (diameter: 5,49m; height: 7,37m). Stallkamp also delivered the mixer for this tank: the high efficient submersible motor agitator TMR 3M. The relatively slow rotational speed saves energy and reliably prevents sedimentation in the sludge tank.

Furthermore both clear water tanks are constructed as corrugated stainless steel tanks from Stallkamp. Each of them covers a volume of 120 m³ (diameter: 4,58m; height: 7,37m) and consists of three inspection holes. All of the industry tanks are equipped with fixed latters.
