Liquid Manure Storage in Stainless Steel
In Germany farmers are forced to provided huge stoarage capacity due to the distribution of nutrients. This liquid manure tank is constructed on a pig and bull farming in Northern Germany.
Liquid manure storage for pig and bull farming
The manure store is made from single corrugated stainless steel plates. A special edge profil ensures the necessary stability of the storage tank and on the bottom a stainless steel bracket connects the plates with the concrete base. The stainless steel slurry tank covers a volume of 3.000m³ for mainly pig slurry.
Emissions roof for liquid manure storage
To reduce emissions a UV resistant membrane roof was installed. It has a central support and is attached with stainless steel profiles to the tank. Moreover, a working platform as well as suction and filling ports are installed. The slurry mixing technology is also supplied by Stallkamp: two submersible motor mixers with 11 kW electrical power and lifting gear.
